When these generic cells (often labeled 8800mAh or 12000mAh) are tested on standard analyzers, they typically provide a real capacity of only 1,200mAh to 2,500mAh. Some unbranded or re-wrapped variations are even known to contain smaller, lower-capacity cells inside padded wrappers. They are fine for simple low-drain electronics or generic flashlights but will not provide the extended runtime promised on the wrapper.
